Whether you’re prepping for a licensing exam, wrangling a
research paper, or wondering if you should rewrite your CV for the sixth time, we see you. We’ve been there. This isn’t about doing it all perfectly. It’s about making progress with people who get it.
We believe you don’t have to choose between being the
curious student or the experienced guide. You’re probably
both, depending on the day. Like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,
we all carry a bit of brilliance and a bit of chaos. And that’s
okay. Actually… it’s powerful.
Here at Dr. X, we turn that duality into fuel. You’ll find tools, peers, tutors, study guides, support, and (maybe most importantly) a community that gets it.
Why the Name?
“Dr. X” was where it started, a symbol of the anonymous, the unknown, the expert in progress. The X could be anyone. Could be you. Could be who you’re becoming
Then came Mx. as in the wild one. The intuitive one. The inclusive, messy, creative, overthinking, overachieving part of us that keeps learning even when we don’t have it all figured out. (So basically, all of us.)
Together, Dr. X and Mx. Prep are our two selves in dialogue. The one who knows the answer, and the one who’s still searching. The voice in our head that says “you’ve got this,” and the other voice that says, “wait… do I?”
Why Jekyll
and Hyde?
Because this journey is weird.
It’s inspiring, exhausting, existential, and often very expensive.
