The MATCH path: CaRMS
CaRMS is the official system for matching medical
graduates (both Canadian and international) to
residency programs in Canada. You’d need to meet
specific requirements like having your medical degree
verified, passing exams like the MCCQE Part I, and NAC OSCE.
You apply online, rank your preferred programs, and if you’re selected, you’ll start your residency training in Canada. It’s a competitive process, but it’s the main route for securing a residency spot!
